2007 VicTenpins Awards

On the final day of the 2008 State Championships held at AMF Moorabbin on Sunday 24^th February 2008, Jamie Taafe, on behalf of the VicTenpins Board, had great pleasure in announcing the re-introduction of the VicTenpins Awards.

Awards were presented for individual and team performances, as well as awards for the administrators of our sport in Victoria.

Winners of the VicTenpins Awards for 2007 were:

Junior:            Female Bowler of the Year:                Rebecca Whiting

                        Male Bowler of the Year:                   Nick Mills

Youth:             Female Bowler of the Year:                Cassie Staudinger

                        Male Bowler of the Year:                   Glen Loader

Adult:              Female Bowler of the Year:                Narelle Baker

                        Male Bowler of the Year:                   Mac Stewart

Seniors:           Female Bowler of the Year:                Jeanette Baker

                        Male Bowler of the Year:                   Chris Benson

Representative Team of the Year:                              Open ATBSOV Team  **

Coach of the Year:                              Louise Eady

Volunteer of the Year:                        Denece Jones

VicTenpins Gold Award:                   Denece Jones

The criteria for Bowlers of the Year and Coach of the Year are performance based; whereas Volunteer of the Year and VicTenpins Gold Award are for services to the sport of tenpin bowling in Victoria that are not necessarily performance based.
